VOICES OF RELIGIONS IN FRONT OF THE WORLD ECONOMIC AND MORALS CRISIS

“VOICES OF RELIGIONS IN FRONT OF THE WORLD ECONOMIC AND MORALS CRISIS”

In front of the big financial crisis that has gone through the US and Europe in recent months, spreading at a planetary proportion, many analysts and columnists were quick to point out the systemic character of the crisis, which does not only concern the mechanisms of finance, but more in general, the social systems and their values. Few, however, know how to show a way out. In which direction the system of values should be turned? By what means? What values should be changed and what really be rediscovered? Who can direct the process of change? In which way we can turn out a global crisis into real opportunity? What are the challenges that are worth collecting?

These are the questions raised during the study day. Can the great religions offer a strong response to similar questions?
